This obtained the look and feel of real brush strokes on canvas, Ian! I perceive it as if you had applied those strokes after you darkened the canvas itself somehow - perhaps by thin application of charcoal or similar. The echo-like appearence of the palmtree-like shapes adds some kind of uncertainty, which I find so often in your images. Intriguing again.
