Not sure of the focal length for I'm using my notebook computer right now and information is on my desktop. I find shooting at f/5.6 is working real well with the butterflies the way I want them to turn out. Yes I'm using my my all around L lens zoom to where I get them in frame the way I want.

Excellent shot, impressive butterfly... not so common for me, and very good focus on the eye!!! it's really unique that with the dark oval spots into it...
