Thanks very much Arif. I appreciate your comments. Yes 800 certainly wasnt what i intended to use lol but worked out ok. This a crop from a landscape and i used the full 300mm so it was a fair way away. Had the choice of leaving it as original and having no noise or cropping to a better composition. Decided this was better. Thanks again. Cheers Keith

Haha. I dont know my dear fairy lady. Hopefully same results and maybe a bit clearer. Would have been at least 4 metres away. Knew it wasnt going to stay there long so just gave it full zoom and pushed the button. I did use the spot focus and the centre exposure. So go and try it :)). You can do it. I know. THATS IF YOU GO TO BED WHEN YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO. :)))) Hugs and kisses. Keith

Hmm, you had some problems with your camera settings ... what would happened you had not them ?! :)))
So very fine macro shot my dear Keith with fine composition, light, colours and details, fine dof and the touch of blur gives a special feeling !!!
