در نگاه اول چیزی که مشاهده میشود زوج بودن عناصر عکس است. حتی طبیعت در چهارچوب درب هم بوسیله چوب وسط از دو دیدگاه به ثبت رسیده. در کل عکس تضاد وتقارن در کنار هم دیده میشوند تضاد را در دو نور داخل و خارج و تقارن را در بین عناصر تصویر می بینیم که البته پرده بالای در کمی از حالت تقارن کامل عکس کاسته.داخل اتاق را تاریک و به صورت مرده و بی روح و نبود زندگی می بینیم و نور بیرون را نمادی از زندگی و ادامه آن در خارج از اتاق. در کل بودن گلدانهای گل در پشت پنجره و رنگهای شاد آبی و سبز طبیعت و همچنین نور ملایم بیرون نشان از انرژی امید به زندگی است
