About Another photo just minutes from my place here in Alberta Canada. I have to say the sky here on most days is pretty fantastic. It is hard not to fill up my hard drive daily with amazing local images.
I have to say that I am still getting the D300 worked out...there is such a huge menu that tailoring it to my liking hasn't been easy. It performs very differently from my previous Nikons.

kekeke the D300 sounds juts like the 5D Canon... or maybe it's the ghosts of my F100 F90 F70 and FM2 lying inert within my camera bag.. speaking to me softly and telling me to come back home.. or maybe I just can't shoot without a Nikon.. I dont know.. kekeke thinks must start googling for a digtal back for the the Hasselblad which is lying fallow at the moment as well... great susnset.. yeah the Wim Wenders book is pretty amazing... nice big pano's and your Highway 59 reminded me...

Yes, the menu has so many variations and permutations that changing one aspect makes a difference on some of the other settings...so i have to shoot a lot of crap to work out the personality of this camera and get it to shoot to my liking. I find this to be the case with most new bodies but this one is a bigger step in its generational growth....yep it is going to take a while...lol

Really ? The D300 is different ? I think it is still very new in use and many photographers using Nikon are still trying it out as you are.

Me, I am a Canon-user though :)
