I agree that the crop is just a little too tight but otherwise this is spectacular!!

I can't say I am all that wild about horses but you definitely have a great eye. My only comment is that the crop is just a hair (almost literally) too tight. Well done!

WOW! I love the shadow, very dynamic. I too love horses, but I've never been able to capture them this way. Beautiful!

Tony, I share your love of horses (I own four of my own), but mine sure don't have that kind of action unless there's a rider on top. The horse doesn't appear to have anything on him (her?) but a halter. Was there a rider or someone on the ground giving voice commands? I really like the shot. I'm just learning about the power that getting in really close can gie to a picture. Is the colour off due to the scan?

I dont mind not seeing the leg because it is there in the very dynamic shadow.......Very tight frame but it does work due to the shadow.....however the color cast is a bit disturbing on the horse and the little blown out highs...especially on the forward leg .........but both of those situations are probabbly a result of the scan and can be easily tweaked in your photo editor.......
Well done however Tony.........
