A view of the pyramids.. interesting POV of this famous places.. I am not very fond of the silhouette from the tree but at least you have chosen a spot where it doesn't cover much the pyramid at the background.. wonderful warm low light.

oh my...very impressive view... and I think one of the best on piramides! and that because you 'use' very nicely the plants around the image and the wall at the bottom to put in a...'natural frame' the piramides...excellent Jen...

I can believe so my dear AJ how the scenery was from the plane, were you able to make some shots from there??
I learned a while ago that all the orange is pollution in the sunlight and I have seen a lot of this on my way to Capetown....but true its an amazing colour despite of all the bad air:( 20 million people in one city like Cairo......wowww...more then the whole of Holland...did you see the trash in the city too??
You can grin evil, I dont think it will help much, you know that too;)) Although there has to be done in the whole world........

Thanks so much my sweet Har, het was een geweldige ervaring om dit te zien, vanaf het dak van de Landcruiser;)) Eigenlijk meer bijzonder dan daar dichtbij te zijn, gek hè? Maar het was jammer dat er zoveel zandstorm was, maakte de boel wat vager en pijnlijk per kameel erom heen

You were right my dear Arif, there was sandstorm over the pyramids and the campsite, which had only sandy ground:)) It was an amazing experience standing there on top, to see this delightful scenery...;)) So, thats why it looks mystic, next day on a camel all around the pyramids was a
wonderful adventure, but camels aren't my fav. animals to ride on...lolll

Our weather wasnt that bad my sweet Nicki, I have been standing on the market and it rained a bit twice, now really totally offffff.....;))) Not used to see and speak to so many people, but its always nice to see people having fun, just forgot my camera, such a pity with all this orange:)))
Yes our kids have holidays for 2 weeks, can you imagine??? Tomorrow we have double holiday, like a christian one and also the work of the day, but thats less important here:))
I will be going for the sea in the North West for 4 days, lets see how the weather is like there, hopefully I will be able to put some pics on, wishing you a relaxing day tomorrow my sweet friend, see you soon!!!! Dikke kus van je vriendin Jenxx

Its was Queens day my sweet Parehan..lolll Our quens birthday and big parties outside, all in orange, such a pity I didnt bring my camer, quite stupid as it was such a special day and not much rain either, very lucky;))
I really loved the pyramids, just a sandstorm going on, thats why its a bit hazy as well, was such a surprise on top of the car;)))

Hm, on my recent visit, I only got to see them from the plane. But what a view that was!
That wonderful orange light is almost certainly enhanced by the atmospheric pollution of the 40,000 pre-1980 taxis that are choking the roads of Cairo. I'm supposed to be doing something about it, but maybe in the interest of photographers I should put a block on the project... (imagine smiley with evil grin here!)

Astronomy as basestone fr power of the pharao, all to predict the flood of the nile exactly including schrikkeljaar correction every 4 years. And know that 10.000 years ago Egypt was green and had plenty water and green.
