a very dramatic light on this portrait, the selective coloring really did emphasized her eyes and especially its color. very good selective lighting and coloring composition.. beautiful light and shadow.. great shot! regards..

there's no doubt that there's a fantastic use of light, and a very carefully worked out eye. the expression, which is limited, it still has just the imperative elements to convey that feeling of 'darkness closing in'. in general i like the soft bordering of the shadow and the form it creates and depicts.
if i may give my critique on this, which is the only one i would point out; is the soft, almost shiny contours of the skin. I think, some roughness, in the sense of having that layer removed, would work even better.
regards, v.
