Yes, I agree with you Joggie! It would seem unlikely that I can get enough DoF to satisfy us, here! However, shifting focus emphasis forward would be helpful. Eb

Lovely macro Eb - beautiful colour and faded background. In this instance I would shift focus slightly to the foreground and increase the DoF just enough to get the drops on the closest "branches" and the "stem" of the Equizetium in sharp focus, therby completing 3 circles of sharp drops around the stem. Blurred as it is, it detracts a bit from the potential impact (thats according to me - and you know me, will mostly opt for the greatest DoF!). Keep well and keep sending these macros, love it!
