Very interesting, your variation looks like my original exposure before I darkened it ! I thought the original looked too bright and clinical.

this is a very fine picture in overall composition and sujet... but it would even be finer, if contrasts would be enhanced and it would be a bit brighter (hard to achieve without ruining the red of the leaves, I know:)) ... I just tried a slightly reworked version... hope you like it!
