About Soften the hair of the child to bring more emphasis to her rather then the mother. Also tight cropped the mother again to give more emphasis to the child. Chose sepia toning to give the image a warm feel.

I wished a more intenselook in her eyes, more detail.
You may place the daughter in the very center in the image.
Nevertheless a pleasant image.
