I made a mistake. The storm was heading east. I previously said it was heading west.

The storm was moving west and I was on the very north edge of the storm. The sun was setting below the clouds above giving these awesome colors.

I am very much into weather as well as photography so to be able to combine the 2 for me is Great.It is very hard to catch that Perfect shot but when you do it is awesome!

a few nights ago i have taken over 500 consecutive shots and only few could i capture and that might be used. that is to say, that it was very hard. especially the adjusting the light and technical parameters of the camera.
anyway, here, your shot has much integrety- it is well adjusted in light and tones and composition, thus making a good presentation of a town under the threatening of the thunder and rain.
