About I dedicate this photo to my dear friend Julie. It is Cathedral Cove in the Coromandel of New Zealand. A very quite and secluded spot, with 360 views of beauty all around you, simply breathtaking.

I dedicate this to your Julie, so one day you could go with the person you talk about in your last post, relax and lie in each others arms, and fully enjoy the moment, then hold that moment in your mind forever.

Hugs and Kisses my Friend, Dan xxoo

Hey Keith, thank you so much for your comment. Maybe you could take a detour there when you go and visit your Mum ;-). You might meet Julie there with the person of her dreams, because she doesn't want to leave :-)

Hey Roger, I am a Canon man from way back. I used to work for Canon. Canon are the only camera manufacturer that makes absolutely everything in there Digital cameras, all other brands use other companies technology and apply that to there products, whether it be lenses, image sensors, or other things. Which in my opinion makes them superior as they can perfectly match each technology to the components more successfully.

I was mainly refering to the D300 and it's Active D-Lighting, and I have seen some of the results of that in a few of his shots. It seems like a very nice feature and gives great results.

This spot is breatheaking Dan and she loves it ... so quiet, so peaceful, so isolated from the crowd ... so she could go there one day with her special one and do everything what you have written in your wonderful dedication :-)
Now I will tell you what you have told me once : Do not worry so much :-)
I am sure she loved it ,,, you are great Dan, she knows that !!!! :)))
Hug,
Srna

Thank you so my dear Srna. I hope Julie likes the shot, it was more about the spot than the shot. I dug up some older photo's in response to some of her previous posts. Hugs Dan

Wonderful and dreamy place Dan, very sweet dedication to Julie, it must be great to discover places like this
without crowds of people! Writing your name in the sand
and flushed away as nobody has ever been there.....
Be well and enjoy your day, Jenxx

nice place... umm make mine a red please.. kekeke and sod the book jus gimme a tripod n hand me me cam... I came to you via Tim Schumms stuff (I have him tagged) I wouldn't bust a gut n get a Nikon... Tims work with the new D300 is slowly becoming more like his older work with a D80... and all I can say is.. I think (and I have challenged him about this and he gets a bit testy) but I think he cranks the levels down to increase the saturations... the colours are all too rich to my mind no matter where on the planet he is photographing he seems to chase a Kodachrome 64 shot at 2ISO look to his work.. I have owned Minoltas still own four Nikons a Hasselblad a Lubitel a Kodak DCS Pro 14N and a Canon 5D.. and to me the Canon has the jury still out and I have owned it for almost twelve months now.. but the Kodak (read Nikon in Dak clothing) is as flawed as the Canon.. so play with the levels a touch (I generally run mine [middle slider] down to 0.84 on my landscapes just to increase the saturations.. but dont jump ship before you check shots by other photographers with the same rig as Tim

You are more than welcome dear Julie, I am glad it has made your day my friend.

Maybe with that book you could take a glass of wine or two ;-).

Enjoy your weekend, whats left of it.
