Thanks for commenting, Dirk! I gave infrared conversion some thought, but rarely do that in photoshop! I am not likely to have my older camera converted either because I am not likely to use it much. Nothing against it, just not my style! Eb

Cathy, I am sorry to hear of the critical situation you live in with regard to water. We do have lots of moisture in this coastal valley, but, even so, water is rationed over the summer months. This is good because generally people here take water for granted and are, wastefully, over-watering their lawns. Exporting water is a contentious issue. If we allowed bulk exports of water, I am sure the Americans would drain us dry! They have large populations in some of their arid regions, who may also soon run out of water at the current rate of consumption. Eb

This is so green. We miss green. We have been in drought so long this looks like heaven. We have been informed this week that without rain the 40,000 or so occupants of this city will run out of water within the year. The old timers have never experienced a dry as protracted as this. Got any water to spare?? CC

nice pic Eb. have you tried converting it to infrared? it is the kind of picture that would render an excellent infrared picture.
