About So far away yet it looks so close, almost like you could touch it.

FYI

In today's world distance doesn't mean much, with technology it can seem like we are there with each other, able to view on webcams, instant messaging, e-mail and phone.

Hi John, thank you so much for your kind words. The statue certainly helped out here with the pose, and the moon with the position. All came together quite well I think

Thank you dear Julie, I am glad you like it and also great to hear your explanation about the moon and sky, I was thinking the same thing at the time of shooting it. I think usefilm think I am a star that's why ;-). One would hope so I have been a member for 1650 days plus, so they told me. Hugs Dan xxoo

WOW, fantastic capture dear Dan.
Great alignment. It really seems like he is about to touch the moon. Love how vivid the moon looks against that blue sky. Your about is very true as well.

Thank you so much Peter, this shot was taken at the gate of the Auckland Domain. The photo was taken at 4:50pm, the moon looked very clear in the sky on Saturday.

Fair enough I didn't say what ;-). Thanks so much Keith, this one wasn't very hard, everything was in my favour here.

Thank you Paul. I was very lucky that I didn't have to move much to line this up, just had to lift the camera a little higher about my head

Thank you so much for your valuable comment. I had been shooting a number of moon shots already so when I got here I just had to move around to align it up, luckly most of all I hardly had to move.

Hey Stan, thank you so much. I am so glad that you like the shot, I had a few in this series, most of the others contain the monument.
