About In 1982-4 I travelled a lot in Saudi Arabia for my work (Xray medical equipment ) and passed bigger and smaller cities. This is a photo of a hill with an old fortress. It had 4x3x4x3 watchtowers with walls inbetween. I cannot remember its location, it must have been north or nothwest of Riyadh. ( Riyad, Quasim, Hail area ) Probably a military fortress by a local tribe. It may be as old as 200 AD to 1400 AD ( best estimate ) .
I checked resources on this but cannot find it. Probably it is not listed. See

Hopefully it will be restored. One thing it is sure. It is a historical place, and few western eyes have seen this.
