Chuck the crop does look better however the colors look a bit bull, I would suggest adjusting the levels and shadows/highlights, if you like I can edit the image.

"Hi Susan,"

I was looking at it a little more and was thinking even a tighter crop might look better...hummm, oh-well back to the drawning board...)

Best Wishes,
Chuck

Susan,

Thank-you for the kind words and comments...I did the crop to see what it would look like...I think you are right, it might look a little better...and it did put more attention to the center of the flower...the stuff on the left was just noise and took away from the photo...so good points and Thank-you.

Best Wishes,
Chuck

The colors of this rose is gorgeous, another beautiful shot.

Just wondering if you had thought about cropping the left side, maybe about an inch off, to simplify the shot and to being more attention to the center of the flower?
