I don't think that it would be really boring without the birds. I cloned them off and it went more "abstract-like". Only the blueish wave on the bottom seems to be a small problem then. (Attachment) BTW, what is that KFC supper?

You are very kind in your comment, it was a great spot to sit down and have my KFC supper:))) I can watch this for hours, but the sun always seem to go down faster and faster...:) I was lucky to have these birds flying around, otherwise it would have been a very boring shot, so thank you for your great reply! I guess so our soccer team will be there in SA, wish I could be there too although it will be completely chaos when all these thousands of soccer fans will be there, be honest I wish it was all ocer, expecting lots of nasty things to happen then...but we will see:) Now looking at the Olympic Games, what about you?

I still love your sunset much better, maybe because there is much more detail of clouds and mountains, but of course you made me very happy dear:) I think you live on a beautiful spot, is the sea far form you? Is there any chance you will ever be able to live more near the sea?

I find it great for the strict color palette and the horizontal zones that adeed also something "abstract", or let's say reducing the many different ranges of distance to many different horizontal zones. Together with the very interesting light it generates much atmosphere. The few birds there are very welcome for adding some contrasting strokes on the uniform canvas.

Now I am sure you must have seen the most amazing sunsets and sunrises, I wish I could see them all, cant you make a collage about them..loll
And yes I do miss it really, living between the houses its so hard to see a good one here in land, just like you I guess, although you have mountains and hills, much better anyway:))
Life is going fast here, Char has to go to school again on Monday, holiday is over! Just a bit stressing out because of the exhibitions and have making frames, developing lots of shots to see if there are suitable ones:) On the 28 and 30th of this month I have one, making me nervous already:)) Wish you could be with me and talk me out..loll
Very happy to hear your arm is getting better slowly, I was really concerned!

Wonderful sweet comment my dear friend, I think I was eating KFC just before this, one of my favourite fast food meals:)) I was indeed lucky to have this gull just flying there, otherwise it would have been boring I guess...

They say the nicer the sunset the worse the smog in the air....I always think they dont have this bad smog in Africa, but they do have, our environment is about to get worse, although in my mind and memory sunsets have always been these colours, isnt it?
Maybe you will make me a great sunset at your beach, will you, with Bangee running into it, will you try for me??

WOOOOOOOW...amazing colors and lighting!!!Love to see the seagulls and this shot reminds me on my last vacation on the cruise.I saw every day a fantastic sunset and a fantastic sunrise...I do believe you that you miss it!!!!
How is life??? And when is your exhibiton?? I guess that you are busy with this?? We have a long weekend this week because we were off today cause of an holiday.Nice weather not so warm but it was ok.

It was a wonderful evening, for a change not raining:) We had a cold and wet holiday in Africa this time, but there was no other oppertunity as my daughter had her summer holidays!
I miss the sea and living near it, it is inviting, specially to have a supper on the grass, watching the sun going down...hmmmmm:)

Hello my sweet girl, how are you doing these days, hectic at work and almost weekend!
Thank you so much for watching my pics, my pc doesnt work well and neither do I:)
I cant still get used on being home and almost end of summer, have to do a lot of work for an exhibiton, but my hands are too quiet and so is my mind....strange isnt it?
So, dont get sad if I dont look at your shots enough, I have to change my mind and get quiet inside...how are you doing my friend, busy at work? I miss Africa and the sea, speak to you soon, thanks for your great comment!!
