About I think that the one in the right was swimming into the territory of the two on the left. They seem to be watching very carefully. The coarser grain seems to fit the almost uniformly colored scene. Any comments would be very welcome.

Yeaaaah, now I can see what you mean, Aziz! And I thank you very much for the explanations! I didn't think of that up to now, really! So I must sit down and think once again, ey?

All the best!

Hi Nick,
You're right. Mode of color are the same.
But here the white portion at the top and blurring theme over and between the montains have configured a proper atmosphere for grains.
May be I should use "theme" instead of "mode".
Anyhow, ... sometimes poverty in a forign language makes problems !
Health and happiness

Thanks a lot for the nice comment, Aziz!

The pole stands not exactly vertical in the lake. It's really a bit out of the vertical. Holding the camera not absolutely horizontaly and with a wide angle lens mounted the tilt angle of the pole was of course "amplified". I wish I had a T/S! :-(

About the grain... what makes you liking it here and disliking it on the other one? The "color mode" of which you talked in your comment about the other one is the same here. So, is there anything else that plays a role?

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the nice comment and the attachment, Vandy!

It is a good work indeed, though I am not at all for such alterations that introduce a certain kind of "imaginary" world. Still it kept the general elements of the image, however.

Cheers!

I like this one very much.
Grains are of good added value here.
I like the mode and the light, .. and composition.
A minor item is the tilted column !
Cheers

I like very much this one, Nick. Very good composition and story.
I think you used a very high compression for this shot.
The grain is acceptable here.
In attachment I try a kind of metallic effect.

Best regards,
Vandi
