Fantastic. If Rembrandt lived in Madagascar his paintings would look a bit like this. I usually prefer b/w but in this case I think I'll go for the color.

The composition is really brilliant, Txules! It has something of that flair of great painters when they smuggle everyday's chaos in such a silent, sympathetic way that teh spectator doesn't have any feeling of "overload" at all. But look at the many many things, each of them revealing another small facet of the lives of those people. Even the dog, sleeping under the floor has its good function. And what a pleasant contrast between the woman at the left and the one at the right. Still, though they seem to be in different moods, theys integrate in the whole view.

The coloring is something which I think enhances this kind of "classical" appeal. Deep rich hues but no way exaggerated. And then that lighting, of which I really have to ask you how you managed to get it so "solid". Even the quick sequence of areas of higher and lower luminocity has a good kind of indefiniteness that at the end makes it impossible to say where exactly the boundaries of lights and shadows are, which in turn preserves the continuous look that really belongs to such an image.

Great work!

Nick

Afectuosamente.- LUIS

although it is not your favorite compared to the B&W,but it is ten times superior to the later, and I give you a logical reasons, they are happy here, their food nature are very clear, the animal below has a known ID as an animal and not a peace of clothes, the state of the house is very well seen, all those are not so obvious in the B&W version.
I hope those reasons are enough to convince you,as they did to me,that the colored are better.
an amazing shot, with unbelievable clarity,my regards,
Saad.
