Impressive fall coloration, Darryl! I know the bright sky was lost in this very contrasty scene. The only way to bring it out would be to take bracketed exposures and use HDR process, or otherwise, use layer masks. Is this something you have considered? I do recommend experimenting with such an approach because, if conservatively done, makes for stunning images! Regards!
