It keeps repeating Stan. a day ago I saw a documentary on the Unabomber. He lived in a shed in Mt and tried to change the world on his own. I dont support his methods but he became a cult and created a manifest. Many supported his ideas that were a threat for present politics,

Nice strong image Harry. May all fallen soldiers rest in peace. I hope that we never forget the sacrifices of so many to try and make our world better. It is hard to imagine the amount of lives that have fallen over the whims of the leaders of this world as time goes by. Unfortunately history keeps repeating itself and the leaders seem to learn so slow if at all. Be well, Stan

Sascha, personally I find it tragic for all casualties, injured , dead, traumatised. Why not go to the old times. Let G.W.Bush and Saddam Hussein fight this war in person in a duel. Wil save thousands of lives.

Very nice lightfall. It might be more dramatic in B&W.
Of course a sensitive theme which many politicans and people don't seem to recognize that many soldiers fight for our freedom and that their jon is dangerous. Thanks for reminding.

A poignant image, and wonderful lighting that seems most appropriate for the subject.
