Ha, 2 months ago i joined a photoclub, seeking a new stimulant in my photo-career .. and bingo, we are allowed to do a big project: take pictures of the members of VLOOT, the groupement of pilotships, policeships, ferryboats on rivers etc (more than 50 ships) of the Flemisch governement .. we go shoot the people in their occupation, on their working location in Nieuwpoort, Oostende, Zeebrugge, Vlissingen, Ghent and Antwerp .. meaning boarding ships of all kinds, meet the people and take pictures of them .. great, hope to learn a lot about portrait photography !!
This is the ferry-driver, steering the people ferry accross the marine harbour of Nieuwpoort, obviously very happy !!
