Thanks Saad, when I remenber well those images were seen on TV in te west. So I assume it is a general arabic habit, also to be found in other arab countries.

Thanks for the information. It triggers a memory of 1982 or 1983 that I saw prince Abdullah participate with a sword. He is an impressive man.
