Hi Gary, the jury seems to be in agreement the b&w is the better of the two. :) Thanks for taking the time to look and compare. It's always appreciated. regards, Jacqueline.

I prefer the mono version, I find the skin tones a bit too pink in the colour version, but the black and white is spot on Regards, Gary

Hi there, yes the flash does make it a hard image, I have to agree. it also made me grin, as the model is hard by nature. Kind and sweet, but hard as nails and suffers no fools, so I like that. The other lights were so dim, but i can see your point it's not for your average portrait. I'll certainly give your suggestions a try the black and white does sound quite appealing. Glad you like it Aziz. I saw the light coming through the hat onto her face before I had the camera out, this as we were talking up in the kitchen, butI didn't have the the tools or the time to recreate it. Such a shame! I'll keep working on this and a couple of others I took of her. thanks for the encouragement :) kind regards, Jac.

I like how you set this up, the pose , the model, a bit of seduction. I am afraid the flash makes it a 'hard' image, would suggest to use available light and take the noise and blur as it is or convert this shot in b/v. I feel it may be very nice in b/w. Keep going !
