Hi Doyle. I'm Truly sorry to hear of your losses, I cant imagine what you must be feeling, My heart goes out to you and your wife. I do know the ride you are going though, as I suffered the loss of my father two years ago. I hope you are all well on the other side of the pond. We are well here, I'm fully recovered from an op but Ian continues to slide downhill. It's inevitable but it is so very sad to witness. I do hope that you have been able to get things together following all your misfortunes with family health. I often think of you and I always miss seeing you about it in UF. There are still lots of old names buzzing about the place but there are lots that have cut down on visits or left completely. Very sad. My dear little brother Ian celebrated his 60th birthday recently, it was a happy family occasion but tinged with poignancy of course. Enough of this!! I miss you my friend and want to stay in touch. My very very best wishes to you both as always, a huge hug for you both and a cheeky kiss for Marnie (well it is St Valentine's Day tomorrow)........Ray

I'm around Marcus. My father and my father-in-law both passed away recently. The latter had services last Monday...the former five months earlier...almost to the day (1 day off). It's been a ride. Thanks for the kind words on my work. Someone has apparently awarded two of them earlier tonight...one being the bald eagle from almost a year ago. Very nice. I hope all is going well with you my friend.

When I saw the picture I had to look at the location right away, thought you were at the far east.. I like the symmetry ans the shadows falling on the wall and subject..

Caught up in wonderful lighting this Buddha looks even more relaxed and benign than the many others we get to see. The details are great my friend and I particularly love the fringes of foliage in the corners. Some time ago I tried sitting like that and had the greatest difficulty in straightening my bones out afterwards  . The library has provided you with a lovely selection of material my dear Doyle. Well done you in collecting some of it for us. My very best wishes to you both as always....Ray
