About Posted in color yesterday. Tried to calm some noise and approach it in Sepia and some noise reduction. This for my friend the Wolf. Hope this is closer to what we discussed. Be well, Stan

Thanks Steve, I am learning more of PS each week by fumbling around and trying new things. I really liked the way this ended up. So glad that you saw what I was trying to display..

thanks Ania, I had to chuckle when I looked at you recent post that we were going in the same direction with tones, frames and vignettes. Great minds think alike. Very fun indeed. Thanks for your continued encouragement and support. It is so appreciated.

Thanks Randee, welcome aboard. I appreciate the comment. This frame is a new process I just found on PS 911. I shot this picture yesterday morning in some very low light and was trying to give it the old look. Glad you liked it. Enjoy usefilm, I have. I see what you have up.

Almost looks like a holga shot... which I really like, perhaps just the way you framed it :)

Thanks Wolf, I took several shots but this was the best angle with his head up.. He was grazing up against my fence and checking on his girls from time to time. He had his head down most of the time. I am just trying to get this lens figured out. It was inexpensive and low light is not it's friend. I have gotten some really nice shots in good light with it. I think with some more time under my belt I will get some better shots with it. Have a good afternoon my friend, chin up!! My wife sends her regards!

My pleasure. I feel bad today but helping you makes me feel good. About making these shots, if you are not sure if it will be sharp, diafragm full open, choose a supporting object ( tree, car ) and simply make 10 shots or so. Then pick the best for use.
Be well and regards to your family !

Thanks Mr. Wolf. I appreciate the suggestion and do see the significant improvements. This was hand held because I was afraid to scare him off before I caught him. So hard to be steady without IS, I braced against a door frame and held my breath. The barbed wire was there with not much choice to do anything about it. Hope you are feeling good today. You are the best, thanks!!!

Yes, I like it in every aspect. The full contrast makes the buck come forward, I like the setting for the auto-light faded and I think you got it as sharp as possible without artefacts and noise is unvisible.
OK, well see if you like it yourself ;-) but this is about the basic procedure I do for every picture. And from here on you can make sepia or b/w versions.
Note, do first noise reduction and afterwards the sharpening, in that sequence ;-)

Well done Stanbop ! I stop being messenger for today bcse you are smart enough to work this out for yourself. !

PS, the barbed wires match fine in the composition

This is the result with just a slight crop and the adjustments suggested. Very light sharpening and 50% noise reduction on the noise filter. What do you think?

Hi Harry, I am working on it now and will post here on Sepia buck for you when I get it done and sized to post. Thanks oh mighty messenger. This is fun, thanks for the guided tour. I have always adjusted on my own without using the auto features. Will post in a few minutes here on this image.

Yes, I see the improvement Stan. The color artefacts are gone ! Better. Curious to see the ( last ) version as I suggested.
