About	One of my favorite short trips during the cold snowy winter months is up to Pearblossom near Palmdale,CA. This area is the backside of Big Bear and the back way to Las Vegas for anyone interested. The mountains are ALWAYS lovely once sprinkled with a bit of snow and the desert floor, along with magnificent seasonal clouds makes for a wonderful winterscape portrait. Hope you enjoy my vision of the Yucca and dramatic clouds.

Could be sooner then u think...The -30 degree winter here is getting to be a bit much. Putting all my stuff in storage and off for a road trip I think....

I have never seen Joshua Trees with snow around them before. I would love to make a trip back down there soon..preferably in the winter. The contrasting reddish hues with brilliant blue skies are so alluring.
