In response to some needed encouragement (thanks James), We'll try something a little different tonight. This pic is a solarization done in the developer tank, with some selective "swishing".
this is an interesting direction, dan. every time i stand there, watching the image rise out of the clouded paper, i think about grabbing it and sticking it in the stop, just to see. of course, i'm always behind and never have time to do that. but this that you've done is fascinating. reminds me of wordsworth's line about the child coming into the world "trailing clouds of glory." wonderful how you got deep blacks along with the cloudiness of partial development.
