OK , Artie.Your lasy reply did show me you had a true interest to help, otherwise you?ll not spend time with reply.I must say,I spend my time in reply, also, because I though you deserve that.I assume I exagerate in my reaction, I assume you was not with the attitude I thought.Let?s clean up all bad feelings and be ,both lovers of photograph.
I present my apology,to prove everything, now is ok with you.
Regards
jorge

Jorge; My critic WAS on a positive note. I'm not afraid to show my work as there were quite a few images originally on this site but I ran into copyright problems with my clients. go to artiephotography.com to see my work. My critic was far from patronizing, but more to the realistic side......everyone or most on this site know of my credentials and that I don't waste time on people that I dont think are worth while......I am trully sorry that you are hurt but that was not my intention.....if I didn't think you were worth while I wouldn't have wasted my time.....I started this site with Al and spend many hours working with potentially good photogs....I'm am only glad to be able to help when I can but if you get pissed than I cant be bothered any longer. Al, the owner of this site, is a long and trusted and valued friend as well as a lot of the contributers and I promised Al a long time ago that I would help as long as it benefitted those that cared enough to learn....I am an American sorry; I do not live in the US, I live in the Caribbean now and love it but will be relocating back to New york shortly....For your information as you will see on my site; I have a good career as a commercial photog and do in excess of 7 figures a year, not that that should matter....if you look truthfully at my critique you will realize it hits home...and you know what that means...you have a lot of talent but on this image it left the viewer wondering and the idea of any image is to get your point across right off the bat...good luck to you in the future and your future endeavors...nuff said gone and have a blast...

Artie, you did a reply to my comment and I?m sure you did not understand my comment...same way you did not understand my picture.Never said I am the best, never be concerned with that .But I am concerned with positive critics.Your was not positive, as you did not only express your opinion about a picture, a fact you can and should do, but made comments to me, my way, sugest I must think before shoot. Your critic was too paternalistic and, on the other hand, I was not able to see evidence of your work to make you someone I clould listen to.Where did you show your work? Throw the stone and hide the hand is not the very best ethical thing. Im my opinion, this is not a correct procedure and you, not me are in the wrong place.I present pictures anybody, even you, are free to critic. You do not show your work, but pretend to give lessons. Why should I accept your opinions as good? You think, you, not me, are the top critic in the world? Why should I think your "opinions" are helpful ? No mr.Colantuono, I have spent too much time with so little.
Just a question? Are you american or living in the USA ?

Jorge; I am sorry you took a positive critism as an offensive attack...I will now say what you wanted to hear...This is the greatest picture in the world.....God pales in comparison to you...
You are the greatest photographer in the world....feel better now...In all honesty you need to be able to accept critism about your imagery.....I do not do weddings nor village festivals, whatever that might be....however if you and your seeing eye dog continue to shoot inages like this you will need to learn the following setence rather well..."Would you like large fries with that burger sir"...grow the hell up....and take your head out of your butt....you need to gain positive experience and learn from your mistakes....You will be able to accomplish your goals but you need to be able to understand the difference in help and willful hurt...I will refrain from any further comments on your images as you and your mind think you are are legend in your own time...this is not what the craft is all about....People actually come hear to learn about imagery and to improve...If your goal is to come here for an "Ata boy" at every image go some place else....

Interesting, though i'm not really sure what to say about the perspective of this one. Seems like it could be a little more flattering.

Artie Colantuono, I think you hit at the wrong door, as I have no temper or time to read your vacuities.
Go to your own job, shot marriages and village festivities, but do not use any more this space.
Disgusting to read you.

Surely you see this perspective makes this woman seem grotesque....
I am certain you could have found a more flattering way to render this type of portrait....good concept, wrong execution....work at this you could be on to a style befitting you but thing more before you press the button.......

T Glow.
