About Same idea as on "Slopes as stripes". Perhaps a bit better done, but still not really satisfactory to me, so any ideas would be very welcome.

Thanks a lot Saad! I think you nailed it pretty well. The only thing to add is that I was thinking of showing them as flat stripes rather than slopes. That was the plan. So, as I also said to Aziz, I assume that more sharpness would reveal that they are not flat. But in order to prove if this is right or wrong I'll have to try it out with a better focus and see if that flat look could be achieved this way too.

Cheers!

Nick

Then I'll have to see if my intention to show them as flat stripes could be also fulfilled with more sharpness. Aziz. I don't think that it will work, because then they will be recognizable as slopes rather than stripes, but I'll have to try it nevertheless, and see if the assumption is right or wrong.

Thanks a lot!

it is an abstract, and its value is in its composition and its effect on the viewer,if it is soft,it will be a soft abstract,if it is sharp ,it will form a sharp abstract,it is up to you to find what is the difference between soft abstract, and the sharp one,my best regards,
Saad.

I think it would be better with sharp edges , but it's only my personal way. It's composition depends on the tilted parallel lines with resonable degree of their slop.

Aziz

Thanks a lot Saad!

As Aziz also said, the focus is soft. I thought that this would make the slopes look more like stripes but now I am a bit ambivalent. So, do you find the softer focus not as appropriate?

Cheers!

You mean that it the soft focus fits the composition, or rather that it should be sharp, Aziz?

Anyway, it was intented to be unsharp for a good visual transformation of the slopes to stripes again. But I don't know if it worked well.

Thanks a lot!
