Not at all, Marcio! It is not complicated at all and it is also the most economical coding of meaning. Mathematicians are just too lazy for making things more complicated than absolutely necessary. ;-)
You know, once a mathematician was asked for the solution of the following problem:
You return home, and see that the kitchen is on fire. There is a bucket of water on the floor right next to you. How do you solve te problem?
After some hours of work the mathematician came and said:
I through the water on the fire. QED.
Then they asked him the solution for an additional problem:
You return home, and see that the kitchen is *not* on fire. There is a bucket of water on the floor right next to you. How do you solve te problem?
After some additional hours of work our mathematician came up with a very lazy solution:
I put the kitchen on fire, reducing thus the current problem to the previously solved one. QED.
