Thanks Jason, it was most definately an experience I don't wish to repeat, but in saying that, I felt obligated to take photos so people could understand how dramatic it all is. Where abouts are you now in Melb?

Thank you Jacques, the water was taken from a dam, it was quite dirty and drenched a few of us who were around the area at the time.

Hi Mesut, thank you for your comment. It was a tragic day to say the least, and to think that two of the fires were set deliberately! They have caught one of the people responsible today.

Great Pix Habib, I only just moved from Melbourne at the end of last year, and quite often was up around the kingslake area with my family, it's been sureal watching the coverage on tv, glad your ok. cheers Jason
