Thanks a lot Jacques!

Though I think that the "division" in two almost equally wide halves was not as good, as Marcio said.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the nice comment, György! I guess a bit too much of the yellow wall, as Marcio already said.

Cheers!

Many thanks again, Dave!

Well, as Marcio pointed out, a less centered composition seems to be preferable here.

Cheers!

So, I should avoid to have the separation on the half, may I guess, Marcio? I think you are right with that. It looks better when I crop off some of the right side.

The yellow color is simply the color of the wall of the house. The situation was as shown on the attached sketch. (Arrow shows the direction of my lens.) They prefer such intense colors for the facades at that place in St. Gallen, and so one has much to photograph. Especially after a rain the colors get really very intense.

Thanks a lot again,

Nick

Thank you for your very kind comment, Nick. This is a fine abstract, with sensual materiality, the texture of the wall, the snow, the droplets on the window pane all add to the effect. Well captured! Best, Gyorgy

I like the contrast in both colour and textures here, Nick!

Interesting but I think that is very divided in half the picture...
I think that part of the roof as more emphasis has good more details.
The yellow skin is produced by white balance?
