Which brings me to my third question of memory...examination is a process we all venture to, in private mostly where we silently admit to a stunned reflection, that time is marking us in its tread. The process of recording by the artist of what is going on in the mind as well as what is wearing away from the surface, is as old as image making, far be it for me in an exhibition which distils the memory of what used to be, to ignore that vast and endless traditional ground of invention.
From the Do You Remember Exhibition Catalogue. The Do You Remember exhibition was the final exhibition in the old Muswellbrook Regional Gallery. Three artists were invited to participate Jolian Grey, Lyn Nash, and Roger Skinner Artist's Statement by Roger Skinner
