Unsure why, but I do rather prefer this to the black and white version. I think it's because the sign is clearer and because the other engine adds something..

I like this image a lot. here's why: The train fills the image space nicely; the quality of the colors of the metal surfaces are very crisp; the lighting and the somewhat gritty texture of this "working class" steam engine fits well with the surroundings. To improve this image, for me, would be purely subjective. It is a well shot and interesting pic.
