About
Shot on my bi-anual trip to the Los Angeles Arboretum & Botanical Gardens outside Pasadena, CA. If you've never been you're missing a real So Cal jewel. This is one INCREDIBLE botanical gardens, complete with multiple "continent" flora & fauna from around the world, not to mention multi ponds, lagoons, fountains & waterfalls. On a typical day you'll see at least 20 peacocks strolling the grounds along with multiple water fowel and a hawk or 2. Each lagoon has 100's of turtles lining the banks and the other smaller wildlife is incredible also. Plan on spending a good 4-5 hours exploring the grounds. You won't be disappointed. They have a tour bus for those who don't want to "huff" it and a guided foot tour as well by a top notch botanist for all who love the plants like ....me! This is the best time of year to go as the flowers have just started blooming. A MUST SEE if in L.A.
