thank you Ahmad,
Yes this is a documentary and Historical about one of the oldest houses in Mosul,
and it is at the same time, about departing a house, with all the sadness that it leaves.
Being documentary,I have not enhances the shots to be nicer and more beautiful.
And to create the feelings of departing a house,I have to capture the seen exactly as it was, with no single modification.
About the office room that is so big and is the most beautiful,I do not know about it,and the owner did not tell me about it either, may be some other times.
be well,with regards,
Saad.

thank you again Celtic Tiger, and I hope this is also Good,
it is my collection of this wonderful works that include,
Celtic Tiger,
Celtic Woman,
Gold,
nights from AL Hambra,and
secret Garden,
if you haven't seen them,I recommend them to you, they are 7++++++++.this is of course if you like fine music,
they all performed by peoples from north Britain,
it is very difficult for me to distinguish Irish from Scottish, and from Welsh,
and at one time and that is recently when I thought all are the same,I even thought there was one English,if you could help me just a three lines of definitions of the three groups above, and that would be very nice,
Slainthe and Hwyl Fawr my friend,
BTW,in the movie my fair lady there is a song in the start about the English language,it speaks not very high about the Irish ,I think,
my best regards as always,
Saad.

Excellent work. House should be protected as heritage.
Shoes are to valuable to throw at foreign visitors ...

This is excellent Saad, I especially like the shoes left on the floor and reflected in the mirror. Thre is much sadness in this house because of it's fate, but you have done justice to it with this series
Hwyl Fawr (Welsh for goodbye - more Celtic words), Gary

I am pretty speechless right now my friend Saad. I am just so delighted and humbled and thank you that you passed on my comments and I so look forward to hearing from your good friend and ex resident of this magnificent house. Shukran. :-)

And no, you haven't insulted me! :-) Celtic is good - in both senses of the word - for those Scottish amongst us! :-) I'm guessing your Professor was either Scottish, Welsh or Irish! :-) We were also taken over by the English - all of us Celtic nations - who are joined in a complex relationship with our English friends. I'm glad to say that we are all mostly friends these days and that any comments otherwise are mostly said in jest and 'friendly banter' - excuse me for using colloquial terms - your English is so good - my eloquence not so good today! I hope you enjoy your new DVD! I can recommend a Dougie McLean CD called 'Tribute' to give you a taste of great Scottish folk music - that includes the poems of Robert Burns - one of our greatest artists and the author of 'Auld Lang Syne' :-)
I'd happily receive a recommendation from you Saad on a CD or DVD that reflects your culture? I hope that you and your countrymen live in peace one day soon Saad. I look forward to seeing the last shot of the series! Take care - kindest regards and warmest wishes to you and to the last resident of this house. Jo x

Slainthe, Celtic woman,
I do not Know if this is good or bad to call you Celtic woman,I have doing this reply while listening to a new DVD newly received,it is having so great songs, and singers,it is titled Celtic Woman,
you know that we are somewhat poor about the history of Britain, apart from the English,I have a funny memory from the nineties when I am talking to one of my professors here at Baghdad, and I said Sir,you as an English, what you do if...,and so.
very surprisingly he replayed to me ,Sir,you are insulting me,
it was only that time that I have realized that I should not use unknown words to me to address peoples,
so hopefully I would like this Celtic woman as an address would be good.
thank you for the detailed input, and the wishes,
I have phoned the last member resident at this house ,told him about your input, and conveyed your wishes to him,I think he will write a note to be posted with the last shot of this series, upon your this input wishes and feelings, and will be addressed to all those who support ,and commented on this series,
my best wishes and regards,
Saad.

Such a great shot from this fantastic series Saad my friend. You've done so well to conceal the excellent photographer and his flash! It is indeed such a sad story and again one that cannot be fully understood - unless you have walked in those shoes that are so very sadly left behind. I am just so happy that you have captured and shared this my friend. You should be proud and the family would have been happy I am sure for you to share a little bit of their world. I hope too that they can return again and soon. Take care my friend. Kindest regards and warm hugs, Jo

An excellent find my friend. Apart from the dust, of course, this is a room that looks ready for occupation. The soft furnishings are under dust covers as though someone intended to come back. What a wonderful huge mirror and a lovely ornate ceiling lamp. If only the walls could talk Saad what a story they could tell. I love the title of this one and it makes us wonder why the shoes were left behind. One of my favourites from this series as it has so many possible stories attached to it. Well done to you, be well, take care. All the best......Ray

What a wonderful room. I had to check the comments to find out why the house is now empty, and of course the reason is very sad. I hope that it can be reoccupied soon and will not fall into disrepair in the meantime.

The image has great tonal range. I like the mirror at the far end, and the way you have concealed yourself behind the lamp.

thank you dear James for the input,
the house is very big,in reality it is three houses, some members of the family have died ,and some have left to other places long time ago, until the last two of them, who have left the house six months ago, because of insecurity, you know that our country is under occupation,
thank you again for asking,
Saad.
