The toning and the exposure balance did preserve the sense for history very strongly, Bubai! It could be an image to start a documentary movie about history, as they appear on some BBC broadcasts. The character of stone is real and the textures nicely visible but still there is a sense of remembrance of times that lie in the past of some great civilization. The lighting does a great job for the latter.
The compositon is wellbalanced and has the necessary depth for supporting the sense for the three-dimensionality of the object in real space. It is automatically visible what is near and what is far here. The architectural contours help very much for that as the play also the roles of leading lines.
Very well done.
Cheers!
Nick

As we all know that B.C., which stands for "Before Christ," is used to date events before the birth of Jesus. A.D. is the abbreviation for the Latin phrase anno Domini, which means "in the year of our Lord," and is used for dates after Jesus's birth. This system of dating has been used for many years by Western archaeologists. Today, however, with a growing understanding that not all archaeologists are Christians, some archaeologists prefer to use the terms: Before the Common Era (B.C.E.) and the Common Era (C.E.), which are exactly the same as B.C. and A.D. but have nothing to do with Christianity.

Beautiful rich sepia tones to show off this wonderful historical structure my sweet Bubai. The information, as usual, is most interesting. The textures and details are wonderful sweetie. Harry has asked what CE stands for, I assume that this is the equivalent of the Christian BC and AD, is it a Hindu measurement of years? A great big HUUUUUUUG and as always my very best wishes for you.......Ray
