Indeed, was originally built by the Romans, reconstructed by the Arabs during the Crusades and finally in the 20's was refuge for Lawrence of Arabia in his fight against the Otoman Impire.

I love your photos of castles. I wish you would tell us a bit about it. Some of these castles look very European and I wonder if they were built during the crusades. This ones seems to be here even before the arrival of the Christians
