Thank you for commenting Irena.The vertical capture was to give the Dof the photo needs to include all the elements I felt were relevant to creating the right kind of atmosphere.I discovered this grave (probably of a dog),in winter,just after my dog had died.Rediscovering it again in Spring,covered in flowers,lent it a special pathos that I reinforced with the inclusion of the lone tree and the mountain behind.The trees at the side were purposefully cropped down on to combine the solitary beauty of the place with the feeling of pain, of loss.
