A brighter photo would let us see the details of flames, the texture of fireplace wall and the woods. And it would be great...
In my opinion, FIRE as a subject of a photograph should be expressed in a bright, sharp and high-contrast frame because these are the nature of fire.
Since your photo takes the fireplace as the main and the only subject, it should have been brighter. For example, over exposed flame tips and flame edges...
