Though they do not do the large coyote drives of 50 years ago. Hunters still hunt them with vehicles, dogs, GPS, long range scoped rifles. Either allowing the dogs to do the killing, if numbers be on their side, or using the rifles. It is a waste, a prideful exercise of malignant power. I found these carcasses disgarded along side a country road. A road that I hike from and even today i find a tooth, jaw, a shard of bone.
