David, I would have just waited until later in the day .... I could never push myself to wake before sunrise ! Next time fold your tent before you take the picture ;)

Luca,
The "Blue Thing is my tent and campsite - thus the name "High Camp"
This is a very difficult shot to do. The slight tinge on the mountain is the sun, just up. There is almost no light in the forground which is why the trees are so dark.
I jsut checked - I said the expose was 1/30 I should have said 1/2
This is well before the sun is up. If I make the sky darker then the refelcetion is black.
I will try to do better scanning.

A gread reflection, but the sky is a little bit overexposed and the are too much grain even if maybe a scanner problem. Overall a good work.

The great reflection is what caught my eye...very nice. I have to agree with Luca Varani about the lighting, the trees are little too dark. I'm glad you mentioned the grain scanning problem; wouldn't expect KC 25 to be that grainy. Overall, nice shot.

About the grain: did you try some 'denoise filter' in photoshop or similar programs ? The reflection is great and the composition is fine, with the small exception of that blue thing (boat?) on the right. The orange cast on the rock is very nice, but the trees are too dark and the sky really looks bad, in my view.
Bye,Luca
