Yes, just about every house and building/business has a spirit house - and you don't exactly have to search for them because they're all over the place, but, as you suggest, the weathering creates an individual quality to what can be a very common design. Thanks for stopping by.

I love the weathered old stone(?) Len .. I have never been to Thailand but do most homes have a 'spirit house'? It must be fascinating to find and photograph them!

This brings back fond memories, Len. I thank you for that & put is among my favorites. I saw it, or its like, first in 1982, on my way to a convention in Japan & then again in 1996, on my way to a tour of Indonesia. Now, at 79, I am past the age of travel.

We can see some wear and tare in the house Len but 24 years is a long time. Methinks that I have changed somewhat in the same period as I get dangerously close to my 70th  . Great details and textures my friend, well done. All the very best........Ray

Very nice shot, hehe... small building however you could get a shot from a different point of view so nobody could say that is a small one... anyway just kidding, really that is unique and worths the interest of a photographer, very nice.
