I do not disagree with Stan, but I guess it shows that my own photographs are usually on the flat and soft side; I rather like it. I does seem to me you did use a little fill flash, I think I see a catch light in the center of their eyes. I think you did a very good job of recording a very wide range of tones holding the detail in the white all the way to the black. I do agree maybe a touch sharper. A lot to be proud of in this photograph, pretty sisters too.

They look like some pretty girls. The light is flat with such a strong back light. I think that if you could have used a reflector to put some light on their faces it would have been nice. I think the image needs more contrast and sharpness. Nice capture of these two friends.
