About I saw people awed by the Pantheon and its oculus. He saw what we all saw, and expressed it here. The Pantheon is a singular, outstanding, example of a space, a work of art, of architecture specifically. It hits one between the eyes in every respect.

I shall never forget its power. Nor shall everyone else privileged to visit this place, I think.

Large crop; all too often I need to compose in-cam, rather than have to do so after the event :(

One might think so - I'd like to think it was the Pantheon alone, and he had muted his music. Maybe a combination of both? At any rate, his expression was noticeable :)

Regards, and thank you for noticing

Anthony

If not your about I would think he is ecstatic about music( I assume) and not what in front of him. Great b&w work.

I know this aspect of Boston intimately, and I am in complete agreement with others who have paid right and proper homage to your work...

Thank you Jim - I saw your Boston harbour early morning recently, and of course, it was a photograph of memory. I am most grateful for your comment.

I like the look of... I guess you had the best word... awe in his face. Beautiful shot - nice work.

Thanks B - it's just I can't really get over visiting the Pantheon, and I want to record my feelings about it from various angles. Just think: it was built in the 2nd century AD, and is a work of sheer genius, for its art and technology.

Regards as ever,

Ant

Excellent image for the project, Anthony. And, as always, I really enjoy reading your very informative "abouts".
