Would like to take apart and put back together on my property, would make a nice guest house. I walked through this and could see a way to save most of it and preserve the old style.
I will call you if I need some help.

Thanks Paul, the good glass and light really did most of this for me. Adjusted levels and RGB in levels for each color. It was a clear and bright sky with some wispy clouds over the mountains that morning. Thanks for the comment and glad to see you working on some portrait work. I liked what I saw from that post.

Thanks Tommaso, good to hear from you. This was a try at balancing the rgb channels in levels. The light was mid morning and really lighting the east face of the building well. Thanks for the nice comment.

Thanks Andre, I got some shots of a waterfall and alighthouse on Cape Disapointment overlooking the mouth of the Columbia River in Oregon-Washington. Today we are going to a beach in Oregon to check out some tide pools. I am hoping to keep the sand out of my gear.

Thanks Andre, miles seem insignificant these days with all the technology. I have been working on my landscapes lately with the nice weather and the welth of subjects here in Montana. Today I am on the coast of Washington with my son. Will be trying to capture some lighthouse and beach shots for a couple of days. Using a friends laptop to check mail but will post shots when I get back home.

Hi Stan,
These old places are great to photograph aren't they! Right from the very first time I started learning photography, places like this have been one of my favourite subjects.
We are thousands of miles apart, but our last couple of images have a lot in common.
Keep up the good work!
Andre

Thanks so much Sinem. I love some of the treasures of old buildings fighting to still stand. This one was lived in by cattle at night and during the heat of the day. It is a beautiful old ranch near the mountains. A favorite of mine. thanks for the nice comment.

Thanks for the compliment Srna. I appreciate the encouragement for my adventures with my camera. I have been trying to shot more and post less. I have been working on some subtle Photoshop adjustments and learning new ways to polish some of my images. I hope all is well with you and yours.

Hi Keith, I had to keep Marty in much closer quarters. I do not think he would like the manure covered dirt floors in here. I was really happy with the details too!! Have a great one!

Thanks soumya, this lens has an EOS adapter that I have found to work well. I shot in aperture priority and have to focus manually. I am still adjusting my diopter of view finder to get my manual focus done correctly. This lens was given to me by Marty Wilson here on UF. It is a very nice lens.

Thanks Ray, the floors are rotten and now are dirt. The cattle have gone in and stayed there as a barn when in this field for grazing. It is a great building for a back drop, I did some portraits around this earlier this year. I know the owners of the ranch and have permission to drive on the ranch for photography.

Thanks Gust@vo, I played a little with the levels of the RGB instead of the saturation. It is very close to the colors of the building as they light was hitting it.
