Sorry that I haven't been about of late. Will try to fix that. I still love your work Ian. The weave of image and ambiguity and Maori stories is wonderful. I have got to get to your part of the world and see it for myself. Love the tuner welding images as well. thanks for sharing. John B

Yeah quite Frankly I've never seen a leading line or even primary forms through a lens and I'm bored with trying at the moment and finding it much more interesting shooting from moving cars and walking tripods and going home rather than hours with my tongue sticking out. I'd love to be more sensitive and see what's there one day but I'm not right now.

Yeah, composition, we're told that a photograph needs a primary point of interest and the "rules" seem to be based on this. I think there's a place for an image to have no primary point of interest.

Hi ya Wayne, Just a slow exposure from lots of perspectives. The fog is all in my mind -I'm trying to exploit my lack of compositional nowce these days, i.e. where to stick the camera to take a shot here, there, over there, or over there.
