I agree with you ijay. The problem was I was using a fixed lens camera and it was difficult to control the DOF.

Thank you for your uplifting comment, Riny. I love tulips. You may have heard of Holland, Michigan which is about 75 miles from where I live and every Spring they have a big celebration with the Holland theme. They dress in Dutch costumes and wear wooden shoes and scrub the sidewalks.

Hi Bill, the tulip has come to be a loved symbol of the Netherlands. Many tourists visit the country just to see the bright coloured flowers,very very nice one! riny
